Oscar Oomens aka CHAMPION has been surrounded by music from a very early age. Having grown up in a Dutch household where his parents and sisters’ mastered orchestral instruments, and his brother having a passion for hip-hop it became apparent that a life dedicated to music was the way for him! Since then the 23-year-old producer has had a taste for many styles of EDM including drum & bass, this being where he found his love for music! 

Having started producing at the mere age of 17 and being inspired by greats such as GROOVERIDER & PENDULUM, CHAMPION started the D&B group called SUBMATIK which has seen him perform shows across the whole of Europe in 2012/13 for shows like LIQUIDCITY, ANTWERP CITY FLOW plus many more. 

Now CHAMPION releases his first eagerly anticipated single on the mighty NEMESIS RECORDINGS entitled SAVE ME which features the beautiful vocal talents of CHARLOTTE HAINING who has been seen to of had a very successful year so far working with the likes of XILENT, FLIWO, RAMESES B and many more just to name a few! Charlotte Haining is definitely another artist to be looked out for in 2014. 

Coined by MISTAJAM as the best new producer to look out for CHAMPION sets the pace with this masterpiece of a single! The piano intro takes control of centre stage whilst luscious pads sweep across the room, enhanced by the beautiful harmonics of CHARLOTTE HAINING. You cannot go wrong with this summer slammer right here! Hard-hitting drums & bass come at you hard whilst the melodic bass line takes you into the next dimension! Smooth laid back beats start the track off from the get go, whilst once again the beautiful vocals sang by his girlfriend take control of the song throughout. Warped synths and warm bass take centre stage while the percussion in this number gets that body shaking at any cost!
